Kinja'd!!!

Walked back to my car after dinner last night and found an F10 parked next to me. I don't know about you, but these two cars look the same size to me.

I had the same experience in my F22, when an E30 came up along side me at the lights. I dwarfed it.

I have an E30 and and Abarth. The E30 looks small even next to the FIAT.

i think it's more of a perception thing than reality...just the way how new cars have a lot "chunkier" looking features...bigger pillars, smaller windows, higher belt lines, etc. Some cars have gotten bigger but most just look bigger

Meh, depends on the car and years in question. A new Wrangler JKU looks about the same size as a Hummer H3, and as for Corvettes over the years:

Nah, almost every car has gotten bigger. There may be some rare exceptions, but this certainly isn't one. The new guy is bigger in all exterior dimensions (length ~8"/width ~4" /height ~2"/wheelbase ~8") and weighs ~300 lbs more. It's the definition of model bloat.

I can't tell, is the F10 a 528i or a 535i?
